The LACA LIVE workshops and cookery demonstrations will take place in the Monarch Suite, they are free to attend and places are limited so please arrive promptly to ensure you are able to participate.

Julian Edwards, Chairman of Foodservice Consultants Service International (FCSI), will present a practical and innovative session packed with great tips and ideas as well as highlighting current trends for that stand-out tender bid.

10.35 National School Meals Week Nigel Argyle introduces the plans for 2018’s National School Meals Week which this year celebrates its 25th Anniversary.

Workshop:  Veggie Run App
Dennis Brewin, Head of Catering at Havering Council introduces Veggie Run, England’s first council-created app to promote healthy eating to primary and junior school children. Supported by Change4Life and developed with local Havering children the app aims to address the rising obesity epidemic in the borough and highlight the health benefits of a healthy school catered lunch.
