Workshop: Building Resilience into the Supply Chain

David  Persaud of the Soil Association joins us to take a look at ways to build resilience in the supply chain. He'll spend time discussing  the current issues facing the industry and some tried and tested methods that have helped maintain supply, minimise the impact of rising costs and help ensure continuity in food quality and caterers’ certifications like Food for Life Served Here. The session will provide space for questions, open discussion and idea sharing.

About: 

David has been with the Soil Association for 7 years now working on both the Food for Life and Green Kitchen Standard schemes, he has prior experience as both a chef and caterer in private and public sector catering.  He has built a wealth of knowledge around public procurement across the catering sector, working closely with individual settings and large contractors alike to achieve their goals of providing more sustainable catering services and refreshing their procurement standards
