Chief Executive – Foodservice Equipment Association (FEA)
Keith Warren is chief executive of the Foodservice Equipment Association, which represents manufacturers and importers of equipment and the supply chain businesses who design and service commercial kitchens. The Association is focussed on delivering ‘Information, Involvement and Influence’ for the foodservice equipment sector and is the independent and authoritative voice of this £1.5bn industry.
Keith’s role means that he is directly engaged with developments across the industry, liaising with members, operators and UK and EU legislators. As well as guiding, lobbying and advising on high profile areas such as the challenges of environmental targets, Brexit and the pandemic, he plays a key part in developing FEA’s broader policy objectives. This includes connectivity, BIM, energy use, water use, air quality, food waste and fats oils and grease management.
In 2018 Keith won the prestigious Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Catering Industry. Presenting the award, former FEA chair John Whitehouse described him as ‘tireless’, and ‘a dedicated operator who constantly promotes the interests of FEA members and the whole foodservice industry.’
