Olivia Oakley

Education Programme Project Manager, NARF
Workshop 1 - Allergen School Update and Case Studies
My name is Olivia Oakley, and I’m the Education Programme Project Manager at The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation. In my role, I lead the development and day-to-day delivery of Allergy School, a programme designed to raise awareness and understanding of food allergies, empower educators, and promote inclusion and safety in schools and youth settings across the UK. I work closely alongside Jan as we continue to grow and strengthen this important initiative.

Prior to this, I worked in STEM education for four years, managing the national delivery of FIRST LEGO League Challenge. This programme gave me the opportunity to engage thousands of young people in hands-on STEM learning, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation in schools, and out-of-school groups nationwide.

I hold a Level 4 BTEC and NVQ Diploma in Business Administration, which has supported my work in project management, stakeholder engagement, and educational outreach. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact in young people’s lives - whether that’s through STEM engagement or helping schools become more inclusive for children with food allergies.

I’m looking forward to sharing insights into the development and implementation of Allergy School, the resources available, and exploring how we can work together to build environments where every child feels safe, supported, and empowered to thrive.
