Tanya & Nadim Ednan-Laperouse OBE
The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation
Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE co-founded The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, the UK’s food allergy charity, with her husband Nadim after their daughter Natasha died aged 15 from an allergic reaction to food. Following Natasha’s death in 2016, the charity successfully campaigned for improved labelling on pre-packed foods for direct sale, and Natasha’s Law came into force in October 2021. The charity funds medical research, bursaries to train the next generation of allergy specialists, offers a free educational programme for schools and campaigns for a safer world for people with food allergies. Tanya has been awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to charity and for people with allergic disease.
