The School Food Show is an unrivalled opportunity to source new ideas and innovations and compare a range of suppliers under one roof.  Over 140 exhibitors will showcase food and beverages, equipment, systems and services.

We have 1,000 printed copies to give away at the event this July - attending the event in person is the only way to get a hard copy for your kitchen.

Show Features


LACA School Chef of the Year 2022 competition final

Visitors will be able to watch the live final taking place at the Main Event with the winners being revealed at the LACA Awards for Excellence dinner on the evening of 7th July.

 

 


Finishing Touches Competition

Finishing Touches is a very popular feature of the exhibition, it will return for 2022 with some new classes.  Held in conjunction with the Craft Guild of Chefs, finishing Touches is once again set to become one of the most talked about features of The LACA Main Event 2022.   Entry deadline Friday 27 May 2022.

LACA Live

Cookery demonstrations sessions focussing on local and sustainable produce taking place in the Monarch Suite on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th July.  Those showcasing their culinary skills at LACA Live this year include former England rugby player, Phil Vickery representing Creed Foodservice, school chefs working with Love British Food and HCL Ltd sharing their expertise in fruit carving.

Workshops

Our ever popular and informative Workshop Sessions with sessions tailored for both kitchen managers and service directors and managers will offer practical advice and share best practice case studies.  Angela Tregear of the University of Edinburgh Business School is returning to update us about the Carbon Calculator measuring the carbon footprint of the sector with other workshops focusing on energy efficient kit, team wellbeing and sustainable sourcing.
